Challenge: Write a five-item list of the things that bring you bliss.
- When an email reply crosses with a friend's and we are both saying the exact same weird, random or ridiculous thing at the exact same time but don’t realize until we’ve already hit send.
- Everything about "You've Got Mail" - Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan, the Upper West Side, Christmastime, bouquets of sharpened pencils, "Fight! Fight to the death!"
- Strawberry shortcake at Pastis in the summer.
- When I'm walking outside in the city, and the weather's just right, and I know that I need the perfect song to be the soundtrack to the moment, so I scroll through my iPod... and I find it.
- The sound of the trumpeter playing the Battle Hymn before a Georgia football game.
